Celebrities in India often face unpleasant situations when they come out in public. At airports, outdoor shoots, movie promotions etc, they are usually surrounded by fans who try to get too close without maintaining any decorum. Female stars in particular face a lot of inconvenience when they come out in the public for movie related events.
Tollywood actors are no exception to this and heroine Nidhhi Agerwal is the latest celebrity to bear the brunt of over enthusiastic and senseless crowd during the promotional event of Prabhas’ The Raja Saab at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening.
Huge number of people gathered at the song launch event which was attended by director Maruthi and heroine Nidhhi Agerwal. At the end of the event, Nidhhi Agerwal was mobbed by the crowd outside as she tried to enter her car. Many people jostled to get too close and made her uncomfortable.
Luckily, she was escorted into the vehicle by her team and bouncers after much effort even as the crowd refused to give way . She was terrified with the sickening experience and heaved a sigh of relief after getting into her vehicle. The scary visuals are now going viral on social media and called for minimum civic sense from the crowd and also better management from the event organizers.
Such disgusting incidents clearly highlight the responsibility of event organisers to ensure proper security and crowd control, especially during promotions of big-star films like Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, which naturally attract massive fan turnout. Adequate planning and preventive measures are essential to avoid such unpleasant situations.
Even a minor lapse can lead to serious consequences and unnecessarily put celebrities at risk, while also reflecting poorly on the film’s team and lead actor, who have no role in these mishaps. Ensuring safety and maintaining decorum should always be the top priority at public events.
