Former minister and TDP scion Nara Lokesh called upon the people to make their party president N. Chandrababu Naidu the chief minister for not five years but 10 years. It is the only way to put things on the track. During Jagan’s administration, things have fallen astray and there is a need to set them right.

Lokesh started off the 16th day of his Yuva Galam walkathon this morning. Earlier, he spoke to the Yadava community, beedi traders of Nellore constituency who had settled in Bengaluru.

Later, Lokesh said that it would be better if the police could stop implementing Raja Reddy constitution and focus on Ambedkar’s constitution. At this time, the police snatched away Lokesh’s mike even while he was speaking. However, Lokesh continued speaking without the mike after asking the people to maintain silence. During the TDP rule, YSR was never interrupted from carrying on his walkathon, he reminded and said that he was not a terrorist and do not know why the police was obstructing him.

Lokesh said that he was not like Jagan who had looted people’s money and gone to the jail. “I have come to the public to know about their problems and fight for protecting people’s rights.”

In Gangadhara constituency, Nellore district, which is the native of deputy CM Narayana Swamy, Lokesh said that development was nil and corruption was full. He suggested that the YCP government focus on atrocities against women rather than causing trouble to him during his padayatra.

The TDP leader said Jagan had sent only IAS officers to jails in the past but now, even the IPS officers will have to sit in the prisons for violating the law at the behest of the CM. He said that his fight against the injustice towards women, youth and farmers would not stop. He wondered why was the GO No. 1 being implemented for him alone while the YCP leaders were holding public meetings as they desired.

Had Jagan fulfilled the promises made to the Yadava community, he asked and reminded that during the TDP rule, over Rs 300 crore was spent on the welfare of the Yadavas. He said that Jagan betrayed the youth promising them employment. Did he provide jobs every year in the last three years, he asked.

Jagan is implementing the Idupulapaya panchayati in the entire state. If the living conditions in the state have to change for better, Chandrababu Naidu has to come to power and remain in the CM seat for 10 years, Lokesh added.
