Purandeswari Teaches Some Respect To GVL!

BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao came up with new demand, voicing for Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga, in a way to please the Kapu community.

GVL found fault with Telugu Desam and YCP for naming welfare schemes after NTR and YSR. He added that there are many leaders other than NTR and YSR unfortunately these dynasty parties are ignorant to honour other leaders.

Countering GVL, AP BJP leader Purandeswari defended that NTR and YSR are great politicians to remember. “NTR brought recognition to the Telugu community and his welfare schemes like rice at Rs 2 per kilo, women university, pakka houses for the poor and many were revolutionary.

YSR initiated schemes like fee reimbursement, 108 service, Arogya Sri and others. They are not just two individuals but are great people (Mahanubhavulu),” tweeted Purandeswari.

Being daughter of NT Rama Rao, Purandeswari’s reaction was natural and can be understood but she received the much needed support in Congress when YSR was the CM and was playing an influential role in erstwhile AP Congress affairs. It is evident that Purandeswari has high regards for YSR for backing her.
