On Friday dramatic scenes took place in Anaparthi constituency of East Godavari district. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was denied permission and a Z plus security person was made to walk on the road by the AP police. The police even denied Chandrababu to address the public and the TDP supremo fumed over the cops for their biased actions.
After Chandrababu’s public gathering, the police seized the vehicle and shifted it to the nearest police station. This seizure turned into a huge controversy and the East Godavari district Superintendent of Police (SP) entered the scene to end the controversy. The district’s top cop threw the blame on TDP and repeated the beaten to death action of YCP government.
“Chandrababu Naidu and TDP have applied for permission for public gathering but the Police Act and G.O.1 are already in existence and so we have denied approvals. In view of the opposition leader’s meeting we have suggested a couple of places for TDP for their public gathering and also assured ample security,” added the SP.
Further the police officer said despite the recommendations, the TDP turned ignorant and breached the prohibition orders. “The police will take legal action against those who violated the rules and regulations in this incident. TDP should be held responsible for this whole incident,” clarified the SP.
