What Next Radha Krishna, MLC or MLA?

Vangaveeti Radhakrishna meeting Nara Lokesh during ‘Yuva Galam’ padayatra assumed significance. Radhakrishna also joined Lokesh’s padayatra and after having the lunch, the duo held a meeting and spoke to each other for nearly an hour.

Sources privy in the TDP said that Lokesh promised to give an MLC post to Radha soon as the party is voted to power. He also suggested that Radha and others in the constituency should strive to strengthen the party and bring it back to power. Lokesh also appealed to Radha to stop thinking about switching his loyalty to other party, as the TDP would soon be voted to power. In fact, Radha has a strong desire to contest from Vijayawada Central as the MLA.

However, there is no such chance for him in the present political scenario. In the Vijayawada Central constituency, Bonda Uma is a strong leader and TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu would not deny ticket to him. For the same reason, Lokesh had offered an MLC post to Radha.

There is information that Lokesh also asked Radha to reveal his plans to contest from any other constituency other than the Vijayawada Central, if he has any. Reportedly, Radha had not responded in the positive regarding the issue. Finally, Lokesh told Radha that he had said what he can do and left the rest to him.

Now, the TDP cadre is anxiously waiting to see Radha would react in this situation. The TDP would gain nothing by having Radhakrishna in the party, except for benefiting from the little reputation he has as the son of Vangaveeti Ranga. Naidu is of the opinion that Radha would be able to influence some Kapu voters and bring their votes to the TDP. Let the public wait for Radha’s decision.
