BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha Rao who was called by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in Delhi liquor scam, walked out of the ED office short while ago.
For nearly nine hours, the ED officers grilled Kavitha in multiple angles. From media reports we hear that Kavitha’s phone was seized by the ED. But the breather for BRS is she was not arrested yet the ED had asked Kavitha to appear before it on March 16th.
The second round is pending and this means she is still on the radar of getting arrested.
The ED reportedly asked Kavitha about the details of her association with Manish Sisodia and South Group which was behind the Delhi Excise Policy. The ED recorded Kavitha’s statements in written format and questioned her as a suspect.
So the suspense on Kavitha’s arrest continues and March 16th is the date that everyone will their eyes on.
