Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s official residence on Thursday. This meeting has called for a political discussion within the Congress and the BJP parties. For nearly 20 minutes, Komatireddy held talks with PM Modi.

Post meeting PM Modi, MP Venkat Reddy held a press meet and denied talking politics with Modi. “There are many schemes that could benefit the people and farmers that fall in my Lok Sabha constituency. I requested PM Modi to sanction funds and implement certain schemes. Modi was kind enough that he promised to take appropriate measures to support my constituency,” said Komatireddy.

The Bhongir MP further added that Telangana CM KCR did not allocate funds of Rs 120 crore for the extension of MMTS from Ghatkesar to Rayagiri which is close to Yadagirigutta, now a devotional stop. “Hailstorm was witnessed in parts of Rangareddy and Nalgonda district last week. But CM KCR had no time to visit rain affected farm lands. I visited a couple of places and assured people that they will be supported in these testing times,” said Komatireddy.

Yet lastly Komatireddy said that he cannot reveal everything that he discussed with PM Modi nevertheless his first priority is his Lok Sabha constituency and the people who voted for him. Though Komatireddy may deny but yet again the rumours of him joining the BJP sparked a debate. So when is Venkat Reddy stepping into the saffron force?
