Tollywood actor Nara Rohith who is missing from the limelight all these days, turned active in politics and he is closely following his cousin and Telugu Desam general secretary Nara Lokesh’s Yuva Galam Paadayatra. On the 50th day of the Paadayatra, Rohith walked with Lokesh in Anantapur district’s Puttaparthi constituency.
Not stopping here Nara Rohith also reacted to TDP’s victory in the recently concluded MLC elections in which the main opposition stunned the ruling YSR Congress party. “With these election results, one can sense a change in political mood in the state. This impact will be longer than one can expect,” said Rohith.
“The YCP had promised a job calendar every year but it did not happen and so the graduates have voted for Telugu Desam. As a party we hope to continue this trend,” said Rohith.
On Joining Lokesh’s Paadayatra, Rohit added that the response from the public is phenomenal. “People are reaching out to Lokesh and conveying their concerns at every place. He assured to resolve these concerns as and when TDP is voted to power,” said Rohith.
When asked about his political entry, Rohith replied that he would work for the party as a karyakarta and would take up any task assigned by chief Chandrababu Naidu. So Rohith is ready to take up mainstream politics and can we see him contesting for the Assembly? Probably it’s a yes!
