AP minister and YCP firebrand leader Kodali Nani once again made sensational comments to remove the state’s Assembly from Amaravati. But Kodali has his own version to make such comments.
Speaking Kodali said, “Our government wants to allot lands to 58K poor families in Amaravati region and Krishna district. It is unfortunate that the opposition TDP went to court and got a stay on it. When there is no place for the poor in Amaravati why should the Assembly be here?”
Further, Kodali added that he met AP CM YS Jagan regarding the same and put his appeal before the CM. “Jagan replied that he would be discussing about this with all the political parties and take a decision,” said the YCP minister.
In response, TDP MLC Rajendra Prasad condemned Kodali’s statement. “As a minister from Krishna district, he should work towards the development of this place. Instead, Kodali is acting opposite and if the Assembly is removed from Amaravati, the farmers will be at huge loss. Indirectly Kodali is blackmailing the Amaravati farmers,” said Rajendra Prasad.
