Former minister Jupally Krishna Rao reacted that he is happy that he was suspended from the BRS party and now he is a free bird. “I’m not bothered about my suspension but the chief minister and the BRS chief KCR has to respond instead of district minister Niranjan Reddy,” demanded Jupally Krishna Rao.
Jupally pleaded not guilty that he indulged in anti BRS party activities. “I only questioned how the public’s money is being spent. Thirty years back current Kollapur MLA Harshavardhan Reddy’s father had done government work on contractor basis for a sum of Rs 5 Lakh. The payment was not made and this BRS government paid nearly Rs 70 Lakh with interest. However, Harshavardhan Reddy’s company approached the court seeking Rs 26 crore, additionally. This case was compromised outside the court. I strictly objected and was against this,” said Jupally.
The suspended leader further added that the minister who was talking against me in the media today, questioned the picture of late YSR in my home. “Who is Nirajan Reddy to decide what should be in my home? I do have KCR’s photo in my home and I respect both YSR and KCR. If I had won in Kollapur in 2018, I would not have let atrocities happen in my constituency and nobody can buy even if they offer Rs 1000 crore. BRS dug its own grave with my suspension,” said Jupally.
From media reports we hear that Jupally is all set to join the BJP and he is likely to get Kollapur Assembly ticket this time.
