T BJP Leader Mistakes Vivekananda To Ambedkar, Gets Trolled

A tweet by Kasireddy Sindhu Reddy, co-convener of the BJP Youth Morcha Telangana’s state women development cell, intended to pay tribute to Dr BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, has been criticized for featuring a picture of Swami Vivekananda instead.

In the now-deleted tweet, Sindhu Reddy had written, “Humble tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary while remembering his endless contributions towards the betterment of Indian society and commitment to social justice and equality”.

She later reportedly deleted the tweet after realizing her mistake. Social media users, including right-wing troll Rishi Bagree, had already archived the tweet. The BJP leader had previously shared the same Vivekananda picture on his birth anniversary in January 2022.

Fact-checker Mohammed Zubair pointed out the same in a viral post. Sindhu Reddy has since shared a picture of herself garlanding an Ambedkar statue with the same caption from her previous post.
