Ex MLA Neeraja Reddy died in a road accident

Tragedy struck the state of Andhra Pradesh as Aluru Ex MLA Patil Neeraja Reddy lost her life in a road accident while traveling from Hyderabad to Kurnool. The incident has left many in shock and has been mourned by politicians and citizens alike.

A road accident occurred in Beechupally when the car’s rear tire exploded. The car overturned due to the same, and the vehicle was crushed in the accident. The police claimed Neeraja Reddy’s head and other body parts were seriously injured in the accident. Neeraja Reddy was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Kurnool but to no avail.

Patil Neeraja Reddy was a well-known political figure in the state, having won as an MLA in 2009 from the Indian National Congress (INC). However, she resigned from the party in 2011 and distanced herself from politics. She later joined the YSRCP in 2019. But then, she quit the party and joined BJP.

Neeraja Reddy is currently in charge of Aluru BJP. Neeraja Reddy’s husband, Patil Sesireddy, who previously served as MLA of Pattikonda, died due to faction fights.

Neeraja’s sudden demise has come as a shock to the political fraternity in the state.
