20 Days Remand For YS Sharmila, Sent To Cherlapally Jail

YSRTP chief YS Sharmila was arrested by the Hyderabad Police at Lotus Pond while she was supposed to stage a protest at the SIT office regarding the probe on the paper leak case.

YS Sharmila was seen outraged when police surrounded her and she was seen slapping a woman police in the incident. YS Sharmila also manhandled an SI after pulling him out of the car.

Sharmila was produced in the Nampally High Court and the court ordered a 20 days remand for her in the case of Manhandling police on duty.

During the court arguments, Sharmila reportedly alleged that a huge number of police came on to her house without a warrant and notice. She further alleged that it is the police who acted rude and tried to touch her and she pushed them away as a part for self defence.

YS Sharmila is being shifted to Cherlapally Jail and will be in jail until May 8th.
