Vishnu Kumar Raju
The Sunday episode of “Open Heart With RK” on ABN Andhra Jyothy had AP BJP Vice President Vishnu Kumar Raju as the guest. Before the main episode, the promo generated a lot of curiosity as Vishnu Kumar Raju was asked about the BJP leadership’s association with the YCP government in AP.
Vishnu disclosed that he had informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the BJP’s winning chances in the earlier elections. He expressed helplessness that the BJP high command is playing the role of a spectator against the atrocities of AP CM Jagan’s government in the state.
For these comments, Vishnu Kumar invited trouble as show-cause notices were served to him by the state BJP leaders. The notices said that Vishnu Kumar Raju breached the party’s line, and it was totally unwarranted of him to disclose the details of the meeting with PM Modi on the talk show.
“Alliance with other political parties in the state is not under your purview. Moreover, blaming the union government for not acting against the state government is baseless. For such comments, the party has all the rights to revoke your membership. The party considers these comments with utmost seriousness,” read the notices.
The state BJP leadership also demanded a detailed explanation from Vishnu, and it would take a call on his future in the party. Being a non-controversial person, Vishnu Kumar Raju landed in trouble unknowingly, but he only expressed the dire status of the party, its leadership, and non-action against the YCP government.
