Fans of senior NTR have warned actress Karate Kalyani over the statue of legendary NT Ramarao in Khammam which is scheduled for inauguration on 28th May on the eve of NTR’s 100th birth anniversary. It is reiterated that NTR’s statue will be inaugurated at Khammam Tankbund. NTR’s statue is in Lord Sri Krishna’s avatar.

The controversy began when actress Karate Kalyani made strong comments against the statue being in Lord Sri Krishna’s get-up. Raising objection to Lord Sri Krishna’s get-up, she warned that the statue would be vandalised. She said the Yadava community is upset with NTR’s statue being made in Lord Krishna avatar.

Responding to Karate Kalyani’s comments, NTR fans in Khammam stated that they have the constitutional right to install a statue and they are not hurting anyone’s sentiments including Yadava community. NTR’s fans asked why Karate Kalyani from Hyderabad is issuing such threats without the voice of local leaders of the Yadava community.

The fans of the former CM stated that the statue of NTR is being prepared for over 1 year and this is only made with love and adoration with no political interest. NTR fans alleged that Karate Kalyani has political ambitions and motives behind these threats. They maintained that the NTR statue would be installed on 28th of this month at Khammam Tank Bund as per the initial plan.
