Exposed: War Between Vijay Sai Reddy & YV Subba Reddy!

Beleaguered YSRCP is going through a lot of difficulties. After tasting debacle in MLC polls, YCP is bogged down by the CBI’s investigation of YS Viveka’s brutal murder and subsequent arrest of YS Bhaskar Reddy, father of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy. And on the other side, sister YS Sharmila is giving shocks to Jagan in relation to Viveka’s murder and also her political stint in Telangana.

Amidst this, the internal war within YSRCP is bringing headaches to CM Jagan. The battle between Uttar Andhra party incharge YV Subba Reddy and former incharge and Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy is irking the party. The appointment of Zonal incharges of YCP by Subba Reddy became a hot topic in YCP. The party’s central leadership has released a statement on the appointment of Zonal incharges recommended by Subba Reddy. However, within less than 24 hours, Vijay Sai Reddy announced the new names of Zonal incharges.

Going into the story, Vijay Sai Reddy during his tenure as Uttarandhra coordinator has named Sunil Kumar as Youth wing zonal president and Garikana Gowri as Women wing zonal president. However, due to some opposition from party leaders back then, the appointment of the zonal incharges was kept aside. After YV Subba Reddy took over the reins as Uttarandhra coordinator, he named Bheemili MLA Muttamsetti Sreenivas’ son Muttamsetti Sandeep as Youthwing incharge and Peela Venkatalakshmi as Womenwing incharge.

When Sai Reddy got to know about these changes during his visit to Vizag on 6th May, he challenged YCP leaders of Vizag that the names he had recommended would be the final names. After the announcement of names of Sandeep and Venkatalakshmi names on 10th May, Vijay Sai Reddy later announced the fresh names. He named Sunil and Gowri for the respective posts. With this, Sai Reddy proved his dominance once again.

Meanwhile, Bheemili MLA Muttamsetti Sreenivas and his followers are quite disappointed with the move and felt insulted by removing his son Sandeep within a day of his appointment. Overall, YCP is clearly suffering from internal war between Vijaya Sai Reddy, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and YV Subba Reddy.
