Election makes any ruling party do all the stuff that it kind of ignored in its past working years. The ruling YCP is no exception to this and now it is running after every scheme, project and promise that it had intended to do. As part of the YCP government is now taking the help of cricketers to promote sports in the state.
In that line, Indian cricketer KS Bharat met AP CM YS Jagan Reddy at the latter’s camp office in Tadepalli. From the AP CMO sources we hear that CM Jagan and cricketer Bharat discussed about the probabilities of promoting sports besides cricket in the state.
Before KS Bharat, former cricketer Ambati Rayudu met CM Jagan but it was purely a political one. Apparently Rayudu wanted to join politics after taking retirement from cricket and before the Indian Premier League (IPL) finals, he met CM Jagan and discussed the prospects of joining the YCP. Rayudu also informed Jagan that he is willing to contest the mainstream elections if given an opportunity.
While Bharat’s meeting was purely professional, Rayudu is still playing hide & seek in selecting the political party he wants to join.
