Sharmila Says No Andhra, Only Telangana!

The Telugu mainstream media is buzzing with unconfirmed reports related to YSR Telangana party chief YS Sharmila that she is expected to join the Congress party and would get nominated for Rajya Sabha and also handle the affairs of Andhra Pradesh Congress party.

Shutting down all the unendorsed reports, Sharmila took to social media and clarified what she is up to. “YS Sharmila Reddy will continue to fight for Telangana till her last breath as the daughter of Telangana. Attempts are being made between me and the people of Telangana to create a gap with imaginary stories,” tweeted Sharmila.

In the same tweet, Sharmila advised the media to focus on Telangana CM KCR’s corrupt rule which according to her is corrupt. “My future is with Telangana, only Telangana, and my struggle is for Telangana. Jai Telangana,” wrote Sharmila.

This tweet sums up that Sharmila is not joining Congress anytime soon. Does this mean Sharmila turned down Congress party’s offer or was it just the reports that surfaced on media out of nowhere?

Yet political analysts suspect that this is a usual diversion tactic politicians’ use and eventually they land where they are destined.
