Somu Veerraju Removed As AP BJP President

In what can be a big shocker, Somu Veerraju has been removed as the AP BJP President. Somu Veerraju has received a call from BJP national president JP Nadda. Nadda reportedly informed Somu Veerraju about the change in the guard and informed him to send his resignation. Somu was told that his term as the state president was ended and hence asked to resign. This is indeed a shocker to many as this development came just after Somu performed Alluri Sitaramraju Birth Anniversary celebrations at the state party office.

Ever since Kanna Lakshminarayana has resigned to the BJP, central leadership is upset with Somu. It is believed that Somu Veerraju is the reason behind Kanna’s decision. Already, several senior leaders of BJP have already complained to the party against Somu Veerraju. Altogether led to Somu losing the top job in the state.

Now, BJP national leadership is looking out for an efficient person to lead the party in the state. BJP’s Sujana Chowdary and Sathya Kumar are said to be in the race to become the next AP BJP President. Meanwhile, BJP top brass is also going to replace Bandi Sanjay and may appoint Kishan Reddy as the Telangana state president.
