Sharmila ‘Thanks’ Rahul Gandhi!

YSRTP chief YS Sharmila has been maintaining stoic silence on her next political moves.There have been many media reports but till date Sharmila did not utter a single word and today she confirmed that she is looking at the Congress party with a ‘Thank You’ tweet.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid rich tributes to YS Rajasekhar Reddy on the latter’s birth anniversary on Saturday. Taking to social media, RaGa added that late YSR was visionary and he shall always be remembered.

Retweeting RaGa’s tweet, Sharmila thanked the Congress leader. “Thank you @rahulgandhi ji for your affectionate words, reminiscing late Dr YS Rajashekara Reddy on his birth anniversary. Dr YSR was a committed Congress leader who died in the service of Telugu people, believing in the bright future for this country under your leadership. His model of welfarism remains the preferred model of governance across the country even to date. Thank you Sir that Dr. YSR remains in your heart,” quoted Sharmila to RaGa’s tweet.

This categorically confirmed that Sharmila is all set to join the Congress but the official announcement remains suspenseful. Congress insiders say that the negotiations are still going on as Sharmila has laid a few conditions which needed to be addressed.
