YCP rebel and Narasapuram MP K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju (RRR) appearance in a yellow shirt at the TANA meeting fuelled speculation that he would join the TDP. After raising his voice against the YCP, RRR had been expressing his respect and support to the TDP and Jana Sena and there has been talk that he would contest on a TDP ticket in the next elections.
But, in the meanwhile, there was talk that he was inching forward towards the BJP due to his cordial relations with the party bigwigs and other leaders at the Centre.
At the TANA meeting in America, RRR seems to have tried to put all these rumours to rest through his appearance in ‘yellow’. Many attendees at TANA reportedly asked him if he was planning to join the TDP.
With elections just a few months away, political equations seem to be consolidating and taking concrete shape.
