Very Close To Jagan, But Not To The Public?

A number of MLAs and ministers in the YCP government are close to their boss and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. They are so close to him that a few had even got tattoos of his name etched on their bodies while a few others have named their houses and even their children after him.

However, the future of these leaders is in jeopardy now as they have lost the ‘connect’ with the people. This fact came to the fore during the Gadapa Gadapaku programme when the leaders approached the public to explain them about various welfare schemes and review their implementation. Many of the villagers had fumed at the leaders for not caring to visit them during the last four years but turning up at their houses promptly, ahead of the elections.

Former Deputy CM Pushpa Srivani, former minister Perni Nani, minister Narayana Swamy, minister Amarnath, Ambati Rambabu and a few other MLAs are among those facing the wrath of the public. All of them are close to Jagan but not to the public. They are being grilled by the people for their negligence in addressing their grievances.

Now, can such leaders who are facing resentment from the public be kept away from the elections? The answer is nay for sure. They have to be given importance in the wake of the communities they represent and to strike a balance in social equations.

The MLAs being grilled by the public include former minister and Vijayawada West leader Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao, Gadikota Srikanth Reddy (Rayachoti), Rachamallu Sivaprasad Reddy (Proddutur) and many others.

It has to be seen what Jagan would do with such leaders who are close to him but not to the people.
