The ruling party in Vizag, YCP, has suffered a significant setback with the resignation of former MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu. According to media reports, Ramesh Babu’s decision to leave the party stems from his discontent with the ticket allocation issue in Pendurthi. Despite his efforts to communicate his concerns to the YCP high command, his attempts proved futile.

As the party’s district chief, Ramesh Babu had worked tirelessly with party workers to secure YCP’s victory in the previous elections. He also mentioned that TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy, who is known to be Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s maternal uncle (babai), had been his mentor, and he still holds respect and values their association.

It is worth noting that Ramesh Babu’s mention of Subba Reddy’s name has attracted attention. This raises questions about whether Ramesh intentionally pointed out the connection between Jagan and Subba Reddy.
