‘Revanth Reddy Is Naidu’s True Successor’

The war of words continues between Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Revanth Reddy and Telangana Finance Minister Harish Rao. Harish Rao retaliated by stating that Revanth is the rightful successor of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.

The ongoing dispute between the Bharatiya Rythu Samanvaya Samiti (BRS) and Congress revolves around the issue of free Power supply to the agricultural sector, with Revanth accusing Harish Rao and Assembly Speaker Srinivas Reddy of involvement in the alleged sand mafia.

Harish Rao strongly criticized Revanth for his comments, highlighting that during the Congress government, farmers had protested against the lack of Power supply. He accused Revanth of carrying forward Chandrababu Naidu’s legacy and belittling the importance of agriculture by stating that three hours of electricity supply is sufficient for farming.

Furthermore, Harish Rao pointed out Revanth’s previous criticism of the Congress’ provision of free electricity to agriculture when he was a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He accused Revanth of hypocrisy for now voicing support for the Congress. Harish Rao emphasized that the Congress has consistently betrayed Telangana’s interests.

Highlighting Telangana’s achievements in the agriculture sector, Harish Rao praised Chief Minister KCR for ensuring 24-hour electricity supply to farmers, which has been well-received by the agricultural community. He urged every village in Telangana to engage in a discussion on electricity supply, emphasizing the benefits it brings to the Bharatiya Rythu Samanvaya Samiti (BRS).

Revanth’s comments have stirred unexpected troubles for the party, and the BRS is capitalizing on the situation to their advantage. It remains important to acknowledge Telangana’s progress in agriculture and electricity supply to the farming sector.
