Udayabhanu is a popular anchor and host who needs no introduction. She hails from Telangana and she is busy with films, events and some philanthropic activities. She was active during the Telangana movement and she also adopted several girl childs and taking care of their needs. But she didn’t enter into direct politics in Telangana.
However, she has suddenly become a topic in AP politics. The only reason was Udayabhanu recently hosted Nara Lokesh’s ‘Jayaho BC’ as part of his Yuva Galam padayatra. She acted as a bridge between the victims and Nara Lokesh.The success of this event reportedly did not go down well with the ruling YCP leaders.
None other than Vijay Sai Reddy stepped in and attacked Lokesh and Udayabhanu openly. In his tweet few days ago, Vijay Sai Reddy said Lokesh’s Yuva Galam wanted “Glamour” and hence anchor (Udayabhanu) is roped in for the program. This gave a big boost to other YSRCP leaders, and the social media team who started trolling Udayabhanu. Many have trolled her badly and her character too. On the whole, Udayabhanu has got the taste of AP politics.
