Following his remand by the Vijayawada ACB court, former Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu was transported to Rajahmundry Jail.
TDP insiders revealed that Chandrababu had not slept for 48 hours due to the dramatic turn of events leading up to his arrest and the police’s actions.
Reportedly, Chandrababu arrived at Rajahmundry jail on Sunday night and stayed awake until 4 am. In compliance with court orders, authorities have provided specific amenities for Chandrababu within the jail premises.
A personal assistant, accompanied by five security personnel, has been designated to assist Chandrababu. On Monday morning, Chandrababu’s family members delivered black coffee, hot water, and homemade fruit salad to him, authorized by the court to consume meals from home.
Furthermore, the court has allowed Chandrababu to have a meeting (Mulakat) with three individuals each day, and today, he is scheduled to meet his wife Bhuvaneshwari, son Lokesh, and daughter-in-law Brahmani. Official sources have indicated that Chandrababu will undergo a medical examination in jail on Monday.
