Be it a film function or any other event, Balakrishna never fails to recite poems extempore, which shows his innate passion towards Sanskrit language and traditions.

Today, Balakrishna call upon a pressmen against Chandrababu’s arrest. In the pressmeet he instantly hit Jagan with poem, by reciting the description of Jagan in Sanskrit and said “lakshala kotla bhakshaka, aviniti arbhaka, kantiri maha murkha, jagamerigina jagannataka, desaniki pattina daridrajatak, rahstraniki ravana palaka.”

He also recited a poem asking what was the need for sacred vermilion for a donkey and continued what is the need of Jagan to this state.

TDP leader and Hindupur MLA N. Balakrishna exuded confidence that their party boss and former CM N. Chandrababu Naidu will come out unscathed from the allegations in connection with the Skill Development scam.

He called upon the people to awaken and fight for themselves by exercising their franchise wisely. It is your responsibility to save your state, he said.

He lambasted the YCP government for failing to initiate any development works in the last four years. The YCP men hate development and people too, he said.

The TDP leaders are committed to carrying forward the legacy of our party founder N.T. Rama Rao, who is a man of principles and integrity.

He reminded that that the Skill Development programme was replicated in the state following the Gujarat government. Over 2,13,000 people were provided training and 72,000 youth were employed after getting trained in the programme.

Siemens and Design Tech worked together for the implementation of the programme. Over Rs 3,281 crore was spent on the programme.

In Hindupur, a Skill Development mela was also organised to enable the youth get employed and around 1200 people got jobs then, he said.

Taking a swipe at Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Balakrishna asked where was the job calendar about which the YCP promised during the hustings. The YCP is not committed to development. Jagan is only focused on vengeance, he said.

Jagan laughs as though the smile has been attached to his mouth and all his intentions are maligned, he said.

“There is no irregularity in the implementation of the skill development programme. There is only illusion in the case. Just because Jagan went to the jail for 16 months, now he wants to see Naidu in jail at least for 16 days. The case is purely to cause trouble to the TDP and tarnish the image of Chandrababu Naidu but nothing will happen to our party boss,” he said.

NTR tried to prove the existence and self-respect of Telugus to the world and Naidu instilled confidence in them by giving impetus to development but now, Telugus are being mocked at by other across the globe, he lamented.

“Our CM is ‘Jana, Dhana and Maana choraka’ (loots people of money and their self-respect) and except this, he does nothing,” Balakrishna said.

“There is no capital city but we have many taxes on every service and product,” he pointed out.

He called upon the people to teach a befitting lesson to Jagan in the 2024 elections by taking a proper decision before voting.
