Sr Lawyer Siddharth Luthra, who currently represents Chandrababu in the skill development case, shared Guru Gobind Singh’s words on Twitter, stating that when one has exhausted all means and justice remains out of reach, it becomes a duty to unsheathe the sword and fight. Luthra proclaimed this as their motto for the day.
Luthra’s tweet garnered responses from many individuals, including one netizen who argued that a pen is mightier than a sword for a lawyer. Luthra’s response was clear: for a lawyer, the sword symbolizes the law, highlighting the legal weapon wielded by those in the legal profession.
Siddhartha Luthra, a senior lawyer of the Supreme Court, arrived in Vijayawada from Delhi on the day Chandrababu was arrested and has since been based in Vijayawada.
He strongly contested the remand report, emphasizing the lack of substantial evidence, the illegality of Chandrababu’s arrest, and the absence of gubernatorial permission. Despite his confidence that the remand report would be dismissed, the unexpected court ruling left him in Vijayawada.
