Hyd Police Commissioner Objects ‘Baby’ Movie Drugs Scenes

Hyderabad police conducted raids in an apartment and arrested the drug dealers and customers. In a recent incident, an owner of a popular tiffin center near DLF in Hyderabad caused a sensation and led to the unearthing of many more links in the drug mafia in the city.

Police Commissioner of Hyderabad, CV Anand today spoke with the press and revealed the details of the arrests and the names of people absconding. While doing so, the CP mentioned the recent hit movie ‘Baby’ and asked the filmmakers to avoid picturing scenes like drug consumption in the movie that might inspire the youth to do so.

CP CV Anand also showed the clips of the ‘Baby’ movie where the lead actress Vaishnavi slowly gets intrigued with drug consumption. Commissioner says that these scenes in the movie are similar to the arrangement and set up in the Fresh Living apartment where they conducted raids today.

The city police commissioner emphasized the need for the responsibility of filmmakers in making movies like this and asked them to avoid making such scenes. The movie got its censor certification and had its full run already, but the commissioner’s words are something that the directors need to pay attention to.

Meanwhile, revealing the names of people arrested, the commissioner mentioned film director Sushant Reddy, KP Reddy, Poker organizer Praneeth and others. In those who are absconding, the CP mentioned Surya of Snort Pub, Arjun of Terra Cafe and Bistro in Jubilee Hills, and film producer Ravi Uppalapati, Swetha, Karthik, and Navadeep.

Actor Navadeep whose name often pops up in controversies clarified that it is not him. Navadeep tweeted, ‘That’s not me gentlemen I’m right here .. pls clarify thanks’.
