ED Notices, Kavitha To Seek KCR Help?

MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been issued notices once again by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection to the Delhi liquor policy scam. She has been instructed to appear at the ED office in Delhi for further investigation. In light of this, MLC Kavitha is expected to visit Pragati Bhavan soon to discuss the matter with Chief Minister KCR and determine the next course of action. Kavitha is already in consultations with her legal team.

There are speculations that Kavitha will make decisions based on Chief Minister KCR’s guidance. Reports indicates that Kavitha to seek KCR help to come out of this case. This marks the fourth instance of investigating agencies issuing notices to MLC Kavitha. Recently, she approached the Supreme Court regarding this case, seeking to quash the ED summons in the liquor scam case. In her petition, Kavitha requested the Supreme Court to direct the ED to refrain from taking any action against her. Additionally, a hearing on Kavitha’s petition is scheduled in the Supreme Court today.

On a different note, the hearing on the bail petition of AAP leader and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia related to the Delhi liquor scam has been postponed.
