Decks Cleared For Kavitha To Become MLC

After the defeat in Lok Sabha elections, Kalvakuntla Kavitha has remained inactive in politics. Father and Telangana CM KCR has been looking for an opportunity to revive Kavitha’s political career and so he selected her for the MLC seat under Nizamabad Local Bodies category.

This happened in March and Kavitha even filed nomination just three days before the nationwide lockdown was announced. In view of the pandemic, the Election Commission has postponed the MLC polls and this brought disappointment to both KCR and Kavitha.

Now that the things have eased irrespective of pandemic impact, the Election Commission has announced the schedule of Bihar Assembly polls. Along with it, the ECI has also announced the MLC polls of Nizamabad.

So, all the decks have been cleared for Kavitha’s road to become MLC. But as she is contesting from Nizamabad, there will be a little competition. Nevertheless, the TRS party and CM KCR will make sure the victory will be a cake walk for Kavitha.
