Lokesh Becomes Emotional While Speaking About Naidu

TDP scion and national general secretary N. Lokesh Babu became emotional while speaking about his father and TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s imprisonment. Naidu is not guilty but he had been in the prison for the last 43 days, he said.

All other accused in the Skill Development Programme had come out on bail in 32-38 days but Naidu, who had served the people for the last 45 years with discipline and determination, had been put in the jail for more than 40 days, he reminded. This should help the public understand how the system is being managed and how institutions are being manipulated, he said, with his tone shaking with sadness.

“There is a need for the people to think how the powers that be are having a grip on the system and how a people’s leader has been put in confinement without any guilt,” he said.

Lokesh said that even he was framed in several cases and there has been buzz that he too would be put behind the bars today or tomorrow. “But the court had given exemption from Section 41A to Lokesh in connection with the Inner Ring Road case.”

“It would be better if the people think about all these. For the last 10 years, we had put forward all the details of our accounts with honesty. We had put before the people all our assets. If anybody can prove that we possess more than what we are claiming, we promised to write all our property in the name of the people.”
