TDP boss N. Chandrababu Naidu’s advocates filed a house motion petition in the AP High Court. They urged the court authorities to hear Naidu’s bail petition urgently in the wake of his delicate health.
The advocates informed the court that Naidu had undergone cataract operation for his left eye three months ago. The advocates mentioned in the petition that now, he has to undergo operation for the right eye.
The AP-CID sleuths arrested Naidu on September 9 in connection with the Skill Development Case.
Being lodged in the Rajamahendravaram Central Jail for more than a month as part of his remand, Naidu’s counsels moved the High Court seeking interim bail to him.
Naidu’s advocates filed special leave petition in the Supreme Court challenging the AP High Court’s verdict in connection with the Skill Development Case.
Mukul Rohatgi, who represented the AP-CID, argued that 17A cannot be taken into consideration in Naidu’s case.
The Supreme Court heard to the judgements of both parties and put the judgement in reserve. The judgement is likely to be delivered on October 28.
On October 29, the Supreme Court is likely to hear the petition on anticipatory bail for Naidu with regard to the AP Fiber Net case.
