Coronavirus: 6 New Cases In Telangana; 1543 In India

Yesterday, Telangana breathed a sigh of relief as only two positive coronavirus cases were reported in the state. CM KCR also expressed his happiness and hoped that the state will be corona-free very soon. However, Telangana, though did not have a sharp rise, had 6 new cases today. This makes the total number of confirmed cases from 1003 to 1009.

All 6 cases today have been reported from GHMC and the Health Minister of Telangana, Etala Rajender, while speaking to press rubbished all those rumours on Telangana not doing tests thoroughly. He said that so far 374 people have been discharged and the state has 610 active cases. Etala Rajender assured that no one is on ventilator or in critical condition and all are being treated well. He expressed in joy stating that even containment zones have been reporting less cases, which is a good sign.

Overall in india, we have 1543 new cases in just 24 hours. This makes the total number in the country 29,974. So far 934 people have lost their lives in India due to Covid19. There have been 121 new cases registered in Tamil Nadu and Delhi have seen the worst today with 70 new positive cases. In Andhra Pradesh, a new 82 corona cases have been reported today itself. And Maharashtra remains the worst-hit state with a total number of cases rising to 8,590, followed by Gujarat with 3,548 cases.
