Pawan In Bhimavaram, Babu says OK!

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan’s electoral constituency for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh assembly elections appears to be taking a clear shape. It is widely speculated that Pawan is set to contest once again from Bhimavaram, solidifying his position. The discussions with Chandrababu Naidu have reportedly led to the finalization of Pawan’s electoral seat, with Babu’s approval of Bhimavaram as the chosen constituency.

In the 2019 AP elections, Pawan Kalyan had contested from Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam district and Bhimavaram in West Godavari district, but he faced defeat in both places. This time, it is understood that Pawan is inclined to contest from a single constituency. Bhimavaram holds a special place in Pawan’s considerations due to the substantial number of votes he garnered in the previous election despite his loss. In the last election, YCP leader Grandhi Srinivas secured 70,642 votes, Pawan Kalyan received 62,285 votes, and TDP candidate Anjibabu obtained 54,037 votes, resulting in Pawan finishing second. Subsequently, Pawan focused on strengthening his presence within his social constituency in Bhimavaram.

Reports suggest that Pawan personally conducted surveys to assess the most favorable constituency for him in the upcoming election. These surveys covered locations such as Tirupati, Anantapuram, Pithapuram, Bhimavaram, Gajuwaka, and others.

Based on the survey results, it is indicated that Pawan sees a potential for victory in Bhimavaram. This clarity has allowed Pawan to progress with discussions regarding his electoral seat, especially in his alliance with the TDP. While Pawan’s constituency seems to be decided, the suspense continues regarding the rest of the seats that Janasena will contest.
