The Supreme Court is likely to pronounce its verdict on TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu’s FIR quash petition filed in connection with the Rs 371-crore Skill Development scam.
Earlier Naidu’s advocates moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court for quashing the FIR booked against him, it was dismissed and then his counsels filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court challenging the AP High Court’s dismissal of his plea.
Meanwhile, there is buzz that if the verdict is in favour of Naidu, the CID sleuths are contemplating to seek Governor’s permission and arrest Naidu for a second time.
Naidu also underwent a 2-hour eye surgery at LV Eye Hospital in Hyderabad.
It is pertinent to note that Naidu was granted bail on medical grounds after his counsels stated that he needed to undergo cataract for his right eye.
