Telugu Daily Ignores Telangana Election Result On Frontpage

Of course, what would be the headlines in the newspapers of Telangana state today? Definitely, it will be about Congress’s triumph in the 2023 general elections where the party won 65 seats to form the government unanimously. But then, there is one newspaper that has completely ignored this on its front page. 

In fact, a widespread talk is that, with media houses backed by political parties, many big parties failed to gauge the reality of the voter mindset, and that led to a shocker the other day. However, a Telugu daily that actually serves as the mouthpiece of the outgoing party, has not even published the election result on their front page today. Some political observers say that all these pro-ruling-party media houses gave many surveys to the rulers, indicating that they were coming to power for the third term, and all of them misfired. 

On the other hand, many of the ruling party members are yet to come out of the shocker, while the Telugu Industry is also in a sense of surprise regarding the result. At the same time, the settler votes in Hyderabad City have done the unthinkable, but many are wondering how the party in power will take that thing, as the ruling party hasn’t won a single seat in the Capital of Telangana.
