First Appearance Of KCR After Defeat

After serving as the only chief minister of Telangana in its 9-year history, BRS boss KCR had to step down yesterday. He was rather hasty about stepping down as he submitted his resignation through OSD and didn’t even meet the governor which is a commonly practiced formality by any outgoing CM. He didn’t fall in the public’s eye since the results came out either.

But finally today, KCR made his first appearance after the demoralizing defeat to Congress. He met the newly elected MLAs of his party at his farmhouse in Gajwel today and had a formal discussion. Ex-ministers and senior leaders of BRS also took part in the meeting today.

KCR reportedly congratulated the newly elected public representatives and wished them the best for the coming tenure. He had a slightly dull look but was confident while addressing his party leaders. Now the wait continues for KCR to come out in public and issue a briefing on the election result which is another formality followed by any outgoing CM.
