Amid the confusion about the CM post, the High command reportedly confirmed Revanth Reddy as the CM candidate with more than 50 MLAs supporting him for the same.
While the names of senior politicians in the Telangana Congress are being heard for ministries, no leader is interested in the ‘Speaker’ post. The high command is looking at Congress leaders Sridhar Babu or Thummala Nageswara Rao for the Speaker post, neither of them is interested in it.
With the CM seat confirmed for Revanth Reddy, the Deputy CM post took the spotlight. Telangana Congress’ senior leader Bhatti Vikramarka reportedly agreed to be the Deputy CM but on the condition that there should only be a ‘Single Deputy CM’ for the state.
The Congress leadership in the center is heard to be proposing the names for Seethakka and Shabbir Ali for the Deputy CM seat along with Bhatti Vikramarka.
The oath ceremony of Revanth Reddy is said to be planned for December 7th and things will gain better clarity on the morning of December 5th about the cabinet, ministries, and speaker post.
