Politics in the Telugu States often trigger so much debate. Sometimes, social media gets inundated with discussions over various political activities. Ardent supporters of different parties mock the ideologies of their opposition whenever they get a chance.
In the last five years, there are various memes surfaced on Andhra Pradesh ‘Capital’ issue. As it is well known after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power, he floated the idea of three capitals. However, he was unable to execute his proposal even after four years. Countless memes often surface on social media with the tag ‘What is the Capital of AP’ (Mee Capital Ekkada).
Now, it is the turn of Andhra people to take a jibe at the existing memes. After the recent assembly elections, the Congress party won the majority and ousted the ruling BRS party from power. However, even two days after the election results were announced, the Congress party was unable to decide on the Chief Ministerial candidate.
As the suspense over the CM candidate continued, memes started going viral all over social media on ‘Who is the CM of your state’ ( Mee CM Evaru).
