3 Options Before Sharmila From Congress

Speculations are rife over YS Sharmila’s entry into AP politics. It is strongly buzzed that Sharmila would officially join the Congress and take over the mantle of the AP unit. Already Sharmila had opted out of contesting elections in Telangana from her YSRTP party and made it easier for Revanth Reddy and co. Now all eyes are on the official announcement.

Meanwhile, reportedly three options are available in front of YS Sharmila. Congress has given three open offers before her and asked her to choose one option as per her interest. On behalf of Sharmila, her husband and evangelist Brother Anil is holding the talks.

Option 1:

Nomination to Rajya Sabha from Telangana or Karnataka and handing over the reins of the AP Congress.

Option 2:

Taking charge as AP president of Congress party and contesting from Kadapa Parliament.

Option 3:

Appointment as National General Secretary of Congress Party and to be nominated to Rajya Sabha.

These three options are reportedly placed before Brother Anil by the Congress leadership. Congress national president Mallikarjuna Kharge directly having discussions with Brother Anil. Sharmila is currently in dilemma and is likely to take a key decision very soon, say the sources. As a daughter of YSR, Sharmila’s entry into AP Congress and AP politics is expected to shake the prevailing conditions.
