Newly-sworn in Telangana CM Revanth Reddy is in reform mode. He is leaving no stone unturned to take revolutionary steps to make the administration more transparent and people-friendly. After breaking the barriers of Praja Bhavan (formerly Pragathi Bhavan), opening the gates for the common people and selecting highly efficient bureaucrats for the top posts and giving up the VIP culture for his convoy and starting Praja Palana Sabhalu for the local governance, he is going on full throttle.
The latest is CM Revanth Reddy has taken yet another key decision. He is going to form the Telangana State Advisory Council soon. This will include intellectuals and Telangana experts. The likes of former IAS officers RS Praveen Kumar, Akunuri Murali and Professors Haragopal, and K Nageshwar Rao are going to get a place for intellectuals in the advisory council. CM Revanth Reddy is going to be the Chairman of the Advisory Council
The Members of the Advisory Council are going to make key recommendations to the government of Telangana. Gurukuls are going to be established at the mandal level focusing on education. The Advisory Council is going to monitor the International Schools. Praja Bhavan to be named ‘Mahatma Jyotirao Phule’ Praja Bhavan. The Advisory Council will work along the lines of the Institute for Policy Studies and Research on Social Justice.
Overall, CM Revanth Reddy’s ideas and actions are getting wide appreciation from the Telangana intellectuals and social personalities who had been away from the state administration and its decisions since the formation of the Telangana state.
