Devineni Avinash Stares At Deja Vu Situation

YCP’s young leader and firebrand Devineni Avinash is in a soup what with the party leadership hinting at a sudden change in his constituency.

Just a couple of months away from the Assembly elections and the YCP has decided to shift Avinash from Vijayawada East constituency to Penamaluru.

Till a few days back, there was buzz that Avinash would definitely contest from Vijayawada East constituency and the YCP too gave its consent for the same.

Avinash made foray into politics in 2016 by joining the TDP and he contested from Gudivada in 2019 elections.

At that time, Avinash aspired to contest from Vijayawada East but as the TDP was already having a strong candidate Gadde Ram Mohan as the incumbent, Avinash was moved to Gudivada and he lost with a small majority.

Then he quit the TDP and shifted allegiance to the YCP. Soon after joining the party, the party leadership promised to give him the Vijayawada East constituency ticket.

Enthused by the assurance, Avinash toured the constituency and even campaigned going door-to-door. He participated in several government programmes held in the constituency almost confirming that he would be the elected representative from the place.

Now, it has to be seen how would Avinash’s fate turn with a deja vu situation. Will he win or repeat a defeat?
