YSRCP MP from Narasaraopeta Lavu Krishnadevarayulu, who won against Rayapati Sambasiva Rao with over 1 lakh votes majority in 2019, has made sensational comments. He stated that CM Jagan ordered him to contest from the Guntur Lok Sabha seat instead of the Narasaraopeta Lok Sabha constituency. However, Lavu Krishnadevarayulu differed with CM Jagan.
Speaking to the media, Lavu Krishnadevaraylu said, “CM Jagan garu asked me to contest from Guntur Lok Sabha. However, I have been working in my constituency for the last 5 years. There are some pending works in Palnadu which need to be completed. I’m committed to contesting from the Narasaraopeta Lok Sabha seat only. I have communicated my version to CM Jagan garu.”
When asked about what would be his next step, Lavu Krishnadevarayulu, son of Lavu Rathaiah and owns the Vignan group of educational institutions, gently said, “I have not thought about my future course of action.”
However, it is strongly heard that Krishnadevarayulu isn’t interested in moving to Guntur Lok Sabha which is considered to be a weaker seat for YCP. Amaravati capital falls under the Guntur Lok Sabha. CM Jagan’s 3 capitals plan has not gone down well with Amaravati farmers. If CM Jagan doesn’t agree for Lavu Krishnadevarayulu to contest from Narasaraopeta, he may quit YSRCP. Already speculations are rife that Machilipatnam Lok Sabha MP Balashouri is also contemplating leaving the YCP.
