Bhatti’s Wife: We Were Shocked When CM Announcement Came

When the Congress party came to power in Telangana, there was a brief period of suspense regarding the CM candidate. Bhatti Vikramarka and Revanth Reddy led the CM race, with Revanth always ahead as he was already the PCC president. Reacting to this topic, Bhatti’s wife Nandini Mallu said the entire family was shocked when Bhatti wasn’t announced as the CM.

Nandini spoke in an interview and said “We all wanted to see Bhatti garu as Telangana CM and worked tirelessly for it. But when the announcement came out that Bhatti wasn’t the CM, we all were shellshocked. It was like our blood was draining out. We didn’t imagine anyone else apart from Bhatti as the CM.”

She said Bhatti was also motion-less for some time after the announcement came and it took him some time to process the information. “But despite facing such a shocking situation, he put a smile on his face while coming in front of the media, which takes a lot of courage.”

Going by this, Bhatti was also certain that he would become the CM and he took was shocked when Revanth was officially announced by Congress. Bhatti was the senior man in the party but Revanth was the one who energized the cadre and led the triumphant campaign, so his candidature is more appealing. However, there is nothing wrong with being optimistic and hopeful which is the case with Bhatti, and he was fairly compensated as he got the deputy CM post.
