YSRCP has been losing its MLAs and MPs at an unprecedented rate. Only yesterday did Kurnool MP, Sanjeev Kumar quit the party. And today, there is another case of yet another sitting MP leaving YCP.
Machilipatnam MP Balasouri Vallabhaneni has quit YSRCP and resigned from his MP post. He has submitted his resignation to YCP through a letter. This decision comes just hours after YCP is still processing the resignation of Kurnool MP Sanjeev Kumar.
Balasouri won the 2019 Machilipatnam MP election by 60,000 votes. But it appears that he wasn’t allotted the MP ticket this time, which could be the reason why he is leaving Jagan’s party.
Usually, we see hurried resignations of MLAs when they decide to switch parties. But this time, YCP is facing a tricky situation as it is losing its MPs also at a surprisingly high pace.
Jagan has been replacing his MLAs and MPs rampantly and that has resulted in a massive outflow of senior leaders and sitting candidates.
