RRR Gets Protection To Enter AP!

YSRC rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, shortly referred to as RRR, is constantly at loggerheads with his own government in AP. Not so long ago, he was arrested by the AP CID and allegedly sustained injuries due to the manhandling by the police officials, as claimed by RRR himself.

So RRR is more cautious about his visit to AP this time and he filed a plea at the AP high court asking for protection from the police while he is on his visit to his hometown to celebrate the Sankranthi festival.

Latest news is that the AP high court completed the hearing on the case and instructed the AP government to provide adequate security to RRR on his trip to Andhra Pradesh. The court ordered the authorities to follow the 41-A section in this case.

RRR had mentioned in his case that AP police filed 11 cases on him in the past and he was physically abused the last time he was arrested by AP CID. So he approached the high court to grant protection on this trip. The court obliged and ordered the enforcement of 41-A, which prevents the subject from getting arrested unless extremely warranted. A sitting MP asking for court’s protection orders to enter his own state is a tale like no other, one must observe.
