Kesineni Nani’s rift with his brother Kesineni Chinni dates back to the ages and the ongoing dilemma in TDP is also something brewing for several years. However, no one expected Nani to take such a drastic step of leaving TDP, immediately meeting CM Jagan, and announcing his joining the YSRCP. As per further reports, Nani’s daughter Kesineni Swetha is likely to be fielded as YSRCP MLA. These are a huge shock to several Kamma people whose population is considerable in the Vijayawada parliament constituencies.

Kesineni Nani made shocking comments against Chandrababu Naidu alleging him as a “fraud” and “useless”. Such harsh criticism from Nani against Naidu isn’t digestible for many Kamma people. Even TDP fans and leaders were taken aback by Nani’s remarks. Within no time, TDP too launched heavy criticism against Nani. TDP leaders swung into action to retaliate against Nani’s comments.

Overall, this whole episode has become a hot topic among Bezawada Kammas and their WhatsApp groups. It is not going to be easy for Nani if he contests on YSRCP ticket as MP as he has to muster the support of all sections to score a hat-trick in Vijayawada Lok Sabha.
