In a major blow to the ruling YSRCP, MP Balashowry has resigned from the party. He is all set to join Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party.
Through Twitter, he made two back-to-back announcements. In the first tweet, Balashouri said he has resigned from YSRCP. In the second tweet, he announced his joining in Jana Sena under Pawan Kalyan’s leadership.
For the last several days, speculations about Balashowry have been doing the rounds. It has been buzzed that he would quit YSRCP and he would contest from Jana Sena as the alliance candidate for the same Machilipatnam Lok Sabha seat.
YSRCP also seems to be prepared for Balashowry’s exit. The party is already considering another leader to contest from Machilipatnam Parliament. As the elections are fast approaching, political parties are making swift moves. So are the leaders who are switching loyalties for better fortunes. Recently, Kurnool MP Sanjeev Kumar, MLAs Kapu Ramachandra Reddy, and Alla Ramakrishna Reddy have left the party.
