Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken the unveiling of the 206-ft tall Ambedkar statue in Vijayawada very prestigiously. The mega construction is named Statue of Social Justice and it is reportedly assembled on a budget of Rs 400 crores and Jagan is set to launch it on January 19.
On the occasion, Jagan briefly addressed the media and said this statue will stand as the pride of not just Andhra Pradesh but also all of India.
This statue will be there here for hundreds of years to come and it will be the cornerstone of the social justice in AP. I urge the people to turn up the statue unveiling event in big numbers, Jagan said.
The statue stands 206 feet tall and it is to be launched in a grand manner on January 19. YCP is hoping to have 2 lakh crowds in attendance for the event, as revealed by Vijayasai Reddy.
